https://madrosatuna.umsida.ac.id/index.php/Madrosatuna/article/view/1606

The research used includes quantitative sample collection and data analysis using statistical methods. The research results show that the use of gadgets has a significant impact on students' social behavior, both positively and negatively. The role of parents is also important in controlling students' social behavior, through mentoring, inviting them together, and controlling the use of gadgets. The impact of using gadgets on students' social behavior can vary depending on how they are used and related factors. Therefore, this research suggests the importance of developing strategies to manage and control students' gadget use, as well as involving the role of parents in the education process and student character development.
Tiwik SunarsihWahyu SukartiningsihResdianto Permata Raharjo

https://madrosatuna.umsida.ac.id/index.php/Madrosatuna/article/view/1598

This research explores the intersection between brain-based learning (BBL) and problem-based learning (PBL) in the context of improving mathematics skills, with a focus on developing logical, critical and creative thinking in elementary school students. Taking place at SD Negeri 02 Nabire, this research involved 58 fourth grade students, to test the effectiveness of innovative teaching strategies rooted in the concept of multiple intelligences. A quasi-experimental design utilized a non-equivalent control group to compare the impact of BBL and PBL on students' mathematical thinking abilities. This research uses a questionnaire specifically designed to measure students' logical and creative thinking abilities in mathematics. Statistical analysis, including normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and two-way ANOVA, revealed significant differences in critical and creative thinking abilities between the experimental and control groups. These findings underscore the potential of combining BBL and PBL strategies in improving students' mathematical thinking skills, highlighting the need for pedagogical approaches that cater to diverse intelligences and promote deeper conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills in mathematics. This study contributes valuable insights to the ongoing discourse regarding effective educational strategies for developing mathematical intelligence in young learners, paving the way for future educational innovations.
Rivaldo Paul TelussaJovial KaihatuPaul Arjanto

https://madrosatuna.umsida.ac.id/index.php/Madrosatuna/article/view/1616

The problem of student character degradation is an urgency in this day and age because there are many phenomena of student behavior now that lack of polite and moral manners. This can cause a decrease in religious character values that are embedded in religious norms. This study focuses on exploring the strategies used by the principal of SDN Panangian in improving religious character in students by implementing religious programs carried out as a step to improve students' religious character in elementary education institution. The research method used is a qualitative design with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal and 8 teachers involved, observation of activities, and analysis of related documents. The results showed that elementary school adopt various strategies in improving students' religious character through religious programs such as; (1) Tahsin, (2) Tahfidz, (3) Dhuha Prayers in Congregation, (4) Dzuhur Prayers in Congregation, (5) Reading Surah Yasin, Al Waqiah and Al Mulk, (6) Tadaruss Al Qur'an, (7) Reciting of Short Surahs (Juz Amma) Every Morning. The strategy of implementing this religious program also collaborates with the STIQ college (College of Qur'anic Studies) as an accelerated step in improving students character and this strategy has provided results in improving students' religious character such as Taqwa, Politeness, Honesty, Responsibility and Discipline, accustomed to daily worship activities at school and creating an environment of elementary educational institution with Islamic character.
Nurjani NurjaniMuhammad Yazid AssyairiNurul HusnaMuhammad Zaki Mubaraq

https://madrosatuna.umsida.ac.id/index.php/Madrosatuna/article/view/1634

This study aims to analyze how students' listening skills to fairy tales before and after using paper puppet media, and find out how much influence paper puppet media has on listening skills to fairy tales in Grade III Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. The method used is quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Kedungleper, involving 31 third grade students as samples. The T test results indicate that there is a significant difference before and after using paper puppet media in learning to listen to fairy tales, because the acquisition of the t value of 13.547 which is greater than the t table value of 1.69726, indicates that there is a significant effect. Paper puppets are the right learning media to help improve the skill of listening to fairy tales, this is evident from the pretest and posttest scores which have increased by 55.2%. Before this media was used, the average student pretest score was 59. After the paper puppet media was used, the average posttest score increased to 82. This increase of 55.2% means that students show a significant increase in mastering the indicators of listening to fairy tales in order to achieve the learning objectives of listening elements.
Khadijah Aufa SalmaDwiana Asih Wiranti

https://madrosatuna.umsida.ac.id/index.php/Madrosatuna/article/view/1636

This study examines the comparison of the effectiveness of the flipped classroom learning model and the conventional model on the mathematics understanding of fifth-grade elementary school students.Using a quasi-experimental design involving 40 students divided into experimental and control groups, the research was conducted over 8 weeks with a focus on fractions, flat shapes, and data processing. The research results show that the flipped classroom model is significantly more effective in improving students' mathematical understanding (N-gain 0.68) compared to the conventional model (N-gain 0.42) with an effect size of 0.76.In-depth analysis reveals that the flipped classroom has the strongest impact on aspects of conceptual and applicative understanding, while the most influential factors for its success are the quality and accessibility of learning videos, student engagement in class activities, and parental support. These findings provide empirical evidence that the integration of technology through the flipped classroom model can be an innovative solution to improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools, although its implementation needs to consider technological infrastructure, teacher readiness, and learning environment support.
Puji Asmaul ChusnaWahyu Purwandari
