General Background: Primary education increasingly requires diverse sensory strategies to support modern pedagogical standards. Specific Background: Third-grade students frequently exhibit passive behavior and limited auditory recognition when identifying animal sounds through static textbook images. Knowledge Gap: Prior instructional practices lack focused auditory exploration, leaving student cognitive attention and sound-cued identification largely untrained. Aims: This teaching report documents the utilization of digital audio media coupled with interactive guessing activities to elevate animal sound recognition and participation among elementary learners. Results: Implementation data demonstrates that student oral participation rose from forty percent to eighty-two percent, while matching accuracy climbed from fifty-five percent to eighty-nine percent. Novelty: The work integrates short targeted acoustic clips with structured exit tickets and cooperative inquiry specifically tailored for lower-grade science learning. Implications: Educators can adopt targeted auditory resources as a reliable pedagogical alternative to foster observational concentration and formative assessment in primary classrooms.
Key Findings Highlights
- Targeted acoustic media elevates student oral participation during interactive classroom activities,
- Structured audio challenges foster precise auditory attention and correct creature identification,
- Formative exit tickets successfully reveal evolving misconceptions regarding biological sounds.
